My Journey is simple, standing out in the face of adversity.

I have been on a journey rebuilding my life after nearly dying, then having major life changing surgery. I have been working hard trying to rebuild my life. Five years and three lots of surgery later. I am getting body to a place where I can move better and start enjoying life.

The thing about me is I am just your average Joe, who is extremely motivated. I have achieved many great things in my younger years in both sports and academia. As an adult I devoted my life to becoming a Digital Telecommunications Tester and Engineer and later a College Lecturer.

The surgery I had completely broke me mentally and physically. But with the love from an amazing wife and some great friends, I am lucky the company I am working for is supportive. I have managed to start rebuilding my life physically.

Mentally it has been a different story. I have been putting a lot of energy into things, but I was so broken that nothing really worked. I have just been treading water for the past five years, metaphorically speaking with nothing keeping me going but my belief in myself.

But recently I joined a group/chatroom called The Breakroom. I have met some amazing, supportive people, through my posts I am now starting to make sense of what has happened, grow and find myself again. I have been working on my Youtube Channel and Website for a few years now. I am even getting back into Computer Games Design. 

My spark has been ignited again over the next few months I will be taking these media in directions with depth, meaning and inspiration. I am finding my purpose again.
